From September 13 to 18, 2026, a study visit will take place in Poland, involving importers from Japan and Hong Kong.
This event is a key component of the “European Beef in Asian Markets – Continuation” campaign, which aims to strengthen the presence of EU meat in East Asia. During the visit, representatives from Asian companies will engage in B2B meetings with Polish exporters and visit modern processing plants to experience firsthand the high quality and stringent production standards.
Why is this visit important? Direct interaction with producers will enable partners from Japan and Hong Kong—markets renowned for rigorous quality standards—to discover the full potential of European products. The visit is not only a platform for exchanging experiences but also a foundation for establishing new, long-term trade relationships.
The study visit programme includes:
- visits to production facilities: presentation of processing methods, cutting-edge technologies and food safety standards,
- B2B meetings: direct discussions with Polish exporters regarding trade terms and collaboration opportunities,
- presentation of the product range: a comprehensive overview of the product range tailored to the specific characteristics of the Japanese and Hong Kong markets,
- networking: participants will have the chance to build business relationships with key decision-makers in the meat industry.
The European meat sector combines a long-standing tradition with innovative technology. With stringent EU standards for traceability and food safety, Polish producers are well-equipped to meet the demands of their international partners. The visit by Asian importers to Poland marks a significant step toward opening new distribution channels and reinforcing the European beef brand in the Asia-Pacific region.
