Not all good things must come to an end! European beef on Asian markets –project continuation

Valued for its high quality and unique taste, European beef has been gaining recognition on Asian markets for years. In response to the growing interest in this product in Asia, we are happy to announce that the project “European beef on Asian markets” will be continued! This is another chapter of the initiative already known to Asian importers, which will again focus on the Japanese and Hong Kong markets. The campaign “European beef on Asian markets – continuation” was initiated by the Union of Producers and Employers of Meat Industry (UPEMI).

Objectives and assumptions

The campaign aims to increase awareness and demand for European beef products in Japan and Hong Kong. It pays particular attention to:

  • Raising awareness of the benefits of beef and the high production standards applied in the European Union – we wish to strengthen the image of European beef as a safe, high-quality product.
  • Increasing the competitiveness and consumption of beef products and the product’s visibility in the Japanese and Hong Kong markets – we wish to facilitate access to European markets for Japanese and Hong Kong importers by organizing trade missions, participating in fairs and B2B meetings with European producers and exporters of beef.

Why Japan and Hong Kong?

The campaign will focus on key Asian markets: Japan and Hong Kong, which show great growth potential and interest in European products.

  • Japan is a country with high -quality standards, where European beef has already gained recognition.
  • Hong Kong is a dynamically developing market with a growing demand for high-quality meat.

Planned activities

The previous edition of the project was full of various activities aimed at promoting high-quality European beef. Within the project continuation, we plan the following, among others:

  • Advertising campaigns and other promotional activities – in both traditional and digital media – aimed at a wide audience in Japan and Hong Kong.
  • Trade missions – Organizing visits for European producers to Japan and Hong Kong, as well as for Japanese and Hong Kong producers to Poland, facilitating direct business interactions.
  • Participation in fairs and exhibitions – presentation of European beef at the most important industry events in Japan and Hong Kong (Foodex and Expo in Japan, HKTDC Food Expo in Hong Kong).

The campaign “European beef on Asian markets – continuation” is a long-term project that aims to strengthen the position of European beef on the markets of Japan and Hong Kong. We are not backing off – we encourage you to follow our website, which will allow you to stay up to date with the latest information about the campaign. See you!
