FOODEX JAPAN 2025 Trade Fair, one of the most important events in the food industry in Asia, ended with a significant success for the “European Beef on Asian Markets” campaign. On 11–14 March, Tokyo Big Sight became a meeting place for leaders of the food industry from all over the world, and the stand promoting European beef gained the title of one of the most interesting points in the Meat Section.
The stand, implemented as part of the campaign run by the Union of Producers and Employers of Meat Industry (UPEMI), turned out to be a place of intense promotional and business activities. The space was designed to emphasize the top quality of European beef, its taste and compliance with EU standards of sustainable development and food safety.
The first day of the fair brought particular dynamics thanks to B2B meetings with Asian importers and distributors, who expressed great interest in cooperation with European producers. The stand was also visited by a government delegation consisting of:
- Mr. Michał Kołodziejczak, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,
- Mr. Paweł Meyer, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer,
- Mr. Henryk Smolarz, General Director at the National Support Centre for Agriculture.
These meetings constituted an excellent opportunity to discuss the strategy for developing the export of European beef to Asian markets and the possibilities of support from public administration. The products promoted at the fair gained recognition thanks to their unique values, such as high quality, safety and controlled breeding methods. European beef was also distinguished by aspects related to sustainable development, which were positively received by Asian contractors.
B2B meetings have become a key element of the presence at FOODEX JAPAN 2025, enabling the development of business relations with importers from Japan, South Korea and other countries in the region. During these talks, it was emphasized that European beef perfectly fits the expectations of Asian consumers, who are increasingly looking for premium products fulfilling the highest quality standards.
FOODEX JAPAN is one of the largest and most important food industry fairs in Asia, attracting thousands of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. The presence of the “European Beef in Asian Markets” campaign at such a prestigious event emphasizes the importance of this project in building the image of the European meat sector and increasing its recognition on international markets.
UPEMI would like to express its gratitude to all business partners who visited the stand and expressed their interest in cooperation. The activities carried out as part of the campaign financed by the European Union are aimed at supporting the European meat sector and promoting its products in key markets.
